The profile of Dr. Kes - Kesakamon Plienmsai, who once received the highest nationwide senatorial votes, is revealed after the Supreme Court's Election Division ruled to revoke her election candidacy rights for 10 years due to corruption involving her professorial title.
On 4 Mar 2026 GMT+7, following the Supreme Court's Election Division hearing a verdict in the case concerning Miss Kesakamon Plienmsai, also known as Dr. Kes, a member of the Senate (Senator), who was subject to a petition by the Election Commission (EC) to the Supreme Court's Election Division to review her qualifications due to complaints regarding academic credentials that might have been deceptive to others about her qualifications, knowledge, or reputation to induce votes for Senate membership, under the Organic Act on the Selection of Senators, Section 77 (4).
The EC filed the petition on 18 Jul 2025 GMT+7 requesting the court to revoke Miss Kesakamon's election candidacy rights. The Supreme Court accepted the petition as case number Lot SW 11/2568. Previously, evidence from both the petitioner and the respondent was examined.
Recently, the Supreme Court's Election Division ruled to revoke Miss Kesakamon's election candidacy rights for 10 years due to corruption involving misuse of her professorial title to mislead voters during the 2024 Senate selection.
In the 2024 Senate election, Dr. Kes received the highest nationwide score with 79 votes after the Election Commission announced the nationwide Senate member selection on 26 Jun 2024 GMT+7, with 200 newly elected senators and 99 reserve list candidates.
Miss Kesakamon Plienmsai, also known as “Dr. Kes,” aged 47, is a successful businesswoman and a medical specialist in dermatology and community mental health. She also has extensive social work experience, including flood relief efforts, assisting sexually abused children, and founding the Dr. Kes Foundation to support society.

Meanwhile, “Dr. Kes” has affirmed that “There was no purchase of degrees,” and the university she graduated from is not “a diploma mill.” During that period, several media outlets investigated further, revealing that the “ California University Foreign Credential Evaluation or California University FCE ) is the same institution from which Lieutenant Colonel Thammanat Prompao, Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, previously claimed to have received a doctorate.
