Pol. Lt. Gen. Ruthaphon, Minister of Justice, revealed that the Songkhla Police Chief has ordered investigators to expedite the online gambling case involving Chonnaphat, noting significant progress and expecting a conclusion soon.
17 Nov 2025 GMT+7 Pol. Lt. Gen. Ruthaphon Naowarat, Minister of Justice. He commented on the progress regarding Pol. Col. Thammarat Phetnongchum, Chief of Hat Yai Police Station, Songkhla, who ordered the investigators responsible for the online gambling case involving Mr. Chonnaphat Nakso, Member of Parliament for Songkhla from the Kla Party, . to investigate all issues still questioned by the prosecutors and to address any deficiencies in the investigation before submitting the entire case file to superiors on 15 November. He stated that significant progress has been made and the investigation is ongoing, assuring that the Songkhla Provincial Police Commander has already implemented many corrections.
When asked whether this case would affect the coalition government, Pol. Lt. Gen. Ruthaphon said the matter must proceed. When questioned if the case is nearing conclusion, he only replied, "Soon."
