
A royal decree has removed Thai Pongsathornjing, an associate judge at the Juvenile and Family Court in Sakon Nakhon Province, from his position due to inappropriate conduct during case proceedings.
On 27 November 2025 CE, the Royal Gazette website publisheda Prime Minister's Office announcement regarding the removal of an associate judge from the Juvenile and Family Court.The announcement dated 24 November 2025 CE states that Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul endorsed the royal decree, which says
the Office of the Judiciary ordered Ms. Thai Pongsathornjing, an associate judge at the Juvenile and Family Court in Sakon Nakhon Province, to be removed from her position. Effective from 8 April 2025 CE, this decision follows the Judicial Commission's 10/2568 meeting on 8 April 2025 CE, which resolved that she acted inappropriately in her role as an associate judge and behaved inappropriately regarding case proceedings under the Juvenile and Family Court's jurisdiction. This is pursuant to Section 25 (4) of the Juvenile and Family Court and Procedure Act, B.E. 2553 (2010 CE).
The Secretariat of the Cabinet submitted a royal petition requesting her removal under Sections 27 (5) and 27/1 (3) of the Juvenile and Family Court and Procedure Act, B.E. 2553, including its amendments.
Now, a royal decree has been issued removing the individual from the position of associate judge at the Juvenile and Family Court of Sakon Nakhon Province, effective from 8 April 2025 CE.
