29 Nov 2025 GMT+7 Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior called a meeting to consider relief and assistance strategies for flood victims in southern Thailand, focusing especially on economic recovery for local businesses. Present were Mr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; Mr. Pradorn Prisananantakul, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office; and Mr. Wuttikrai Leewirapun, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce.
The Prime Minister arrived at the Government House at 10:17 a.m. After having spent the entire previous day (28 Nov 2025) in Hat Yai District, Songkhla Province, for the fourth time, where he held meetings and heard local residents' concerns. Previously, the government had issued various aid measures, and next week it will begin disbursing compensation payments of 9,000 baht to affected individuals before considering further measures.
