Royal Command Revokes Honorary Decorations of Former Transport Official Supaporn Janthong for Serious Misconduct

By royal command, permission has been granted to revoke the honorary decorations of Supaporn Janthong, a former official in the Ministry of Transport, due to serious disciplinary violations, failure to uphold the reputation and honor of her official duties, and grave misconduct.


On 2 Dec 2025, the Royal Gazette website publishedan announcement from the Prime Minister's Office regarding the royal permission to revoke honorary decorations.Deputy Prime Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, acting on behalf of the royal command, announced on 27 Nov 2025 that

His Majesty graciously granted permission to revoke the Second Class White Elephant Order, the Order of the Crown of Thailand, and the Third Class White Elephant Order, which Ms. Supaporn Janthong a former civil servant holding the position of Senior Policy and Planning Analyst under the Ticketing System Supervision and Management Group, Office of the Joint Ticketing System Management Project, Office of Transport and Traffic Policy and Planning, Ministry of Transport, had been awarded,

due to committing serious disciplinary offenses for failing to maintain her personal reputation and the honor of her official position, thereby causing disrepute, and for engaging in conduct considered seriously immoral. This is in accordance with Sections 82 (10) and 85 (4) of the Civil Service Act B.E. 2551 (2008), and following a final dismissal order effective 31 Oct 2024. This dismissal grounds the revocation of honorary decorations under clauses 6 and 7(4) of the Prime Minister's Office regulations on requesting royal permission to revoke honorary decorations B.E. 2548 (2005). Ms. Supaporn Janthong has also been removed from the official list of honorary decoration recipients as per relevant Prime Minister's Office announcements.
