The Thai military has established a 'Frontline Disaster Relief Center' following the Prime Minister's cancellation of the emergency declaration to continue flood recovery efforts in Songkhla.
On 4 December 2025, Air Chief Marshal Ukrit Boontanon, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces (ผบ.ทสส.), signed an order to establish the "Thai Military Frontline Disaster Relief Center" (ศบภ.ทท. (สน.)) to continue assisting citizens affected by flooding in Songkhla province. This center was set up after Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul signed the revocation of the emergency situation declaration in Songkhla, effective from 5 December 2025, terminating related announcements and orders.
The Thai Military Frontline Disaster Relief Center aims to direct and coordinate operations to assist the public swiftly and efficiently. The Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Armed Forces serves as the center's commander, delegating oversight responsibilities to the First Deputy Commander-in-Chief and the First Deputy Chief of Staff.
Support roles have been clearly assigned: the Military Comptroller Office and Budget Division provide budgetary support, while the Military Logistics Department, Military Operations Department, and Military Mapping Department support the movement of personnel, equipment, and aircraft to ensure continuous recovery efforts in the affected areas.
