Nattawut Assures Pheu Thai Can Handle Current Situation, Jabs Anutin: Dissolving Parliament Would Make Him a Fleeing PM

Nattawut, accompanied by Jiraporn and Chayapha, gave speeches rallying the people of Roi Et, dismissing rumors of switching to the blue camp, confirming the submission of a no-confidence motion. He emphasized that Pheu Thai is still capable at this hour and took a jab at Anutin, saying that dissolving parliament would turn him into a 'fleeing prime minister.'Tags: [Politics, Pheu Thai Party, No-confidence Motion, Anutin, Parliament, Thailand]

On 7 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Nattawut Saiyaku, Director of the Pheu Thai Family, together with Ms. Jiraporn Sinthupray, Pheu Thai MP for Roi Et, and Ms. Chayapha Sinthupray, Pheu Thai MP for Roi Et and party deputy spokesperson, visited Phanom Phrai, At Samat, and Si Somdet districts of Roi Et Province. They addressed and engaged with tens of thousands of local people gathered at Phanom Phrai Witthayakarn School, Phanom Phrai District, Roi Et Province.Tags: [Political Rally, Pheu Thai Party, Roi Et, Thailand, Election Campaign]

Mr. Nattawut said that he and Mr. Nisit Sinthupray, former Roi Et MP and father of Ms. Jiraporn and Ms. Chayapha, proudly joined the Thai Rak Thai Party, which implemented policies to elevate the lives of the people, working for their benefit. This party was founded by Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, who introduced policies to eradicate poverty in Thailand. Today, the party's founder has been imprisoned.Tags: [Thai Rak Thai Party, Thaksin Shinawatra, Poverty Alleviation, Political History, Thailand]

Mr. Nattawut stated that democracy is regressing today and cannot be allowed to continue unchecked. Therefore, Pheu Thai will definitely submit a no-confidence motion. If the government dissolves parliament to escape the motion, the prime minister, nicknamed 'Mouse,' will change his vowel from 'u' to 'i,' becoming a 'fleeing prime minister.' If he runs again and voters ask why he fled and is returning, he would have no good answer. Some parties say not to submit a no-confidence motion because it might derail constitutional amendments, but he refused to name which party opposes constitutional reform from the start.Tags: [Democracy, No-confidence Motion, Parliament Dissolution, Constitutional Amendment, Thailand Politics]

"If we let the country continue like this, it will poison democracy, especially as a monopolistic system emerges under the blue government. The senators are also 'blue,' and they have the power to appoint independent agencies. If the House of Representatives, Senate, and independent agencies are all aligned, where is the power of the people?"Tags: [Monopoly, Government Control, Senate, Independent Agencies, Democracy]

Mr. Nattawut said that if this continues, the struggle of the past 20 years will be wasted. The two coups created double standards of injustice: one side's actions are always wrong, while the other side's are excused. Many things have happened because they want the parties they support to win elections. However, election victories still belong to the democratic side.Tags: [Military Coups, Double Standards, Political Injustice, Elections, Democracy]

"Many ask if Pheu Thai can still manage at this time. I confirm it can, because the only support Pheu Thai has is the people. Big Boss Thaksin, today, some analyze attempts to keep him inside, preventing him from participating in elections. But people in Roi Et say they will vote for the party that continues Prime Minister Thaksin's legacy," said Nattawut.Tags: [Pheu Thai Party, Thaksin Shinawatra, Electoral Support, Political Legacy, Roi Et]

Meanwhile, Ms. Jiraporn said that after the 2023 election, when Pheu Thai formed the government, they had opportunities to be ministers and promote policies benefiting the people in many areas. But many policies might not continue if they are not in government, as previous coups canceled several good policies implemented by Pheu Thai. She affirmed that the Sinthupray family will never betray their ideology or the people who have supported them, no matter how much Mr. Nisit Sinthupray, former Roi Et MP and father, is imprisoned or politically pressured. The family will continue to stand with the people and Pheu Thai, never betraying their principles.Tags: [Pheu Thai Party, Policy Continuity, Political Pressure, Sinthupray Family, Thailand Politics]

Ms. Chayapha said rumors claimed that she and Jiraporn Sinthupray had switched to the blue camp. She firmly denied this, saying they will not sell out their ideology and will remain with the people and Pheu Thai to serve the public. Throughout political changes, they have maintained their commitment to advancing policies that improve people's lives. Even as opposition, they perform their duty to fully scrutinize the government, never neglecting to protect public interests. They refuse to be a rubber stamp raising hands for the government like some parties.Tags: [Political Allegiance, Opposition Role, Policy Advocacy, Public Service, Pheu Thai Party]
