Theng Natthapong joined the party to discuss with the executive committee preparations for the upcoming election following the dissolution of parliament. At 09:58 on 12 Dec 2025 GMT+7, at the People’s Party headquarters following the publication of the Royal Decree dissolving the House of Representatives of 2025, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People’s Party, arrived at the Anakhotmai building to convene the party’s executive committee meeting. Mr. Natthapong did not respond to media questions. The meeting is expected to discuss work strategies and preparations for the upcoming election. Also present was Ms. Sirikanya Tansakul, deputy party leader.
Reporters added that in front of the Anakhotmai building, which serves as the party’s headquarters, stacks of flyers introducing prospective MP candidates for Bangkok were found. Additionally, list MP candidates from the economic group were arriving for final day interviews. The party has currently selected 90% of its constituency candidates.
It is expected that by 16 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the People’s Party will finalize the full list of candidates for both constituency and party-list MPs, preparing for widespread campaigning across constituencies.
