Government Invites Public to Donate Blood to Support Hospitals Along the Thai-Cambodian Border

The government invites the public to donate blood to ensure sufficient reserves for hospitals along the Thai-Cambodian border to treat all affected groups.

On 12 December 2025 GMT+7, Ms. Lalida Pertviwatana, Deputy Spokesperson of the Prime Minister's Office, disclosed that due to escalating tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border, there is an urgent need for hospitals in the area to have adequate blood supplies to treat all affected groups, including the injured, the elderly, and bedridden patients.

The Deputy Spokesperson stated that the National Blood Service of the Thai Red Cross has urgently requested additional blood reserves to support hospitals in the border areas. Therefore, the public who are able are invited to donate blood immediately at the National Blood Service on Henri Dunant Road, with the following service hours:

Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 19:30.

Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays, from 08:30 to 15:30.

The center can accommodate over 1,500 donors per day. To ease congestion and improve convenience, donors are encouraged to register and book their appointments in advance athttps://bdbooking.redcross.or.th/

The Deputy Spokesperson also requested that donors traveling to the Henri Dunant Road center use public transportation, as ongoing construction and renovations have significantly limited parking availability.
