Kla Tham Party Energized as Former MPs from Four Parties Join Ahead of 2026 Election

The Kla Tham Party is bustling with activity as former MPs from four parties—Palang Pracharath, Ruam Thai Sang Chart, Democrat, and Thai Sang Thai—gradually join to prepare for the 2026 election battle.


On 12 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters noted that after the royal decree dissolving the House of Representatives took effect today, former MPs began resigning from their previous parties. Recently, the Kla Tham Party has seen former MPs from four political parties join as members to run in the upcoming MP elections.

From the Palang Pracharath Party are Mr. Jakrat Phuachuay, former MP for Phetchabun; Mr. Prinya Rerkrai, former MP for Kamphaeng Phet; and Ms. Kanchana Jangwa, former MP for Chaiyaphum.

From Ruam Thai Sang Chart are Mr. Sanya Nilsuphan, former MP for Nakhon Sawan; Mr. Poramet Jina, former MP for Surat Thani; and Lt. Col. Sinthop Kaewpijit, former MP for Nakhon Pathom, who have also resigned.

Meanwhile, the Democrat Party has seen a group of former MPs led by Mr. Chalermchai Sri-on, the party’s former leader, join the Kla Tham Party. This group includes Ms. Supatcharee Thammaphet, former MP for Phatthalung; Police Major General Surin Palare, former MP for Songkhla; Mr. Yunai Dee Waba, former MP for Pattani; Second Lieutenant Yutthakarn Rattanamat, former MP for Nakhon Si Thammarat; and Mr. Wutipong Nambut, former MP for Ubon Ratchathani, who have all submitted their resignations from the Democrat Party.

Additionally, Ms. Rampool Tantiwanitchanon, former MP for Ubon Ratchathani from the Thai Sang Thai Party, has also joined the Kla Tham Party.
