Former Orange Camp Female MP Bids Farewell to Position, Passes Baton to New Candidate Confident in Continued Efforts

"Mew Sirilapas" bids farewell to her MP seat, proud of advancing sick leave and mental health rights, passes the baton to "Khun Ha - Korkiat" to contest elections, confident in continuing the work effectively.

On 12 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Ms. Lillipas Kongtrakan, former MP of the People’s Party, posted a farewell message. She expressed pride in the trust given over the past two years as a representative and her sincere dedication to serving the people. Among her proudest achievements as a committee member in parliament was participating in reviewing labor protection legislation, promoting monthly sick leave rights and family care leave rights, and authorizing studies on mental health service models for all age groups, from children to the elderly. She also brought citizens’ concerns into the committee’s discussions.

Looking ahead in politics, Ms. Lillipas said she would give the opportunity to the next MP candidate, "Khun Ha" Korkiat Koorsongsak, confident that this candidate is well-qualified to care for the people as she did and will perform the role just as well. She asked everyone to trust that this candidate will continue the party’s work and ideals seamlessly.
