Teng-Patchon’s Popularity Declines Many Still Undecided as Democrat Party Surges

Nida Poll for Q4 shows the highest rise in undecided voters for prime minister and political parties. Although the People’s Party and Teng Natthapong rank second, their popularity has sharply declined, while the Democrat Party and Abhisit’s ratings have surged.

On 14 December 2025, the Nida Poll Center at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) released results of the "Quarterly Political Popularity Survey Q4/2025." The survey was conducted from 4-12 December 2025, sampling 2,500 citizens aged 18 and over, representing all regions, education levels, occupations, and incomes nationwide. It used probability sampling from Nida Poll’s Master Sample database, applying multi-stage sampling. Data was collected by telephone interviews, with a margin of error not exceeding 0.05 at a confidence level of 97.0%.

When asked which individual the public would support as prime minister today, 40.60% ranked first saying they have not found a suitable candidate. Second place went to Mr. Natthapong Rueangpanyawut (People’s Party) with 17.20%. Third was Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul (Bhumjaithai Party) at 12.32%.
