Suchart to Lead Former MPs of Group 16 into Bhumjaithai Party This Monday 10 Chonburi Districts Finalized

Suchart Chomklin is preparing to lead former MPs from Group 16 of the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party to join the Bhumjaithai Party on 15 December. Meanwhile, the candidacies for all 10 districts in Chonburi have been finalized with Ban Khun Pluem.


On 14 December 2025, regarding the activities of Group 16 led by Mr. Suchart Chomklin, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources, and a member of the Bhumjaithai Party (BJT), reporters reported that at 11:30 a.m. on 15 December, Mr. Suchart and Mr. Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana, Minister of Industry, who have already registered as BJT members, will bring former MPs from the Ruam Thai Sang Chart Party (RTSC) in the group. This includes Mr. Kriangyot Sudlapa, former party-list MP; Mr. Sastra Sripan, former MP for Songkhla district 2; Mr. Watchara Yaoahasan, MP for Narathiwat district 1; Mr. Jirawut Singto Thong, MP for Chonburi district 4; Mr. Pipit Rattanarak, MP for Surat Thani district 2; and Mr. Phansak Boontan, MP for Surat Thani.


Ms. Thiwalrat Angkinan, MP for Phetchaburi district 1; Mr. Apichart Kaewkosol, MP for Phetchaburi district 3; Ms. Kulwalee Nopamornbodi, MP for Ratchaburi district 1; Ms. Pimpatra Wichaikul, MP for Nakhon Si Thammarat district 10; and Police Major General Suraphon Bunma, former MP for Nakhon Nayok district 1, will register as BJT members.


Meanwhile, three former MPs in the group—Mr. San Saetang, former MP for Chumphon district 2; Mr. Chaiwat Paopiamsap, former party-list MP; and Mr. Poramet Jina, MP for Surat Thani—are reported to be moving to the Kla Party due to overlapping electoral districts. Mr. Thanompong Likphai, MP for Trang, is taking a break from this election cycle.


In Chonburi province, all 10 districts have been finalized. Mr. Sonthaya Khunpluem, leader of the Ban Yai Chonburi group, and Mr. Suchart will lead all the prospective BJT candidates for Chonburi’s 10 districts to officially launch and register as party members on 15 December. Mr. Suchart will run in district 1; Ror Sor Thanawat Phawasuth in district 2; Ror Dor Sitthiphat Phawasuth in district 3; Mr. Jirawut Singto Thong in district 4; Mr. Anan Preedasuttichit in district 5; Mr. Surasit Nithiwutwarrak in district 6; Mr. Songkran Phachana in district 7; Mr. Chaowalit Saenguthai in district 8; Mr. Man Inpitak in district 9; and Mr. Phonthanakhorn Kraikruan in district 10.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., Mr. Santi Piyatat, Minister attached to the Prime Minister’s Office, will bring 13 former MPs and prospective candidates affiliated with the party to register as BJT members. Among them are Mr. Tawee Suraban, former MP for Trang from the Palang Pracharath Party; Mr. Sutham Charitngam, former MP for Nakhon Si Thammarat district 6 from the Palang Pracharath Party; and Kochee Mamu, former MP for Pattani district 2.
