Raphatsorn Ends Association with People’s Party Lampang Influential Husband Says Everything Has Its Reasons

"Ming Raphatsorn" announces ending her work with the People’s Party, affirming her ideology remains unchanged but saying it’s easier to live in a cramped space than with a cramped heart. She denies that "Thanathorn Loesuntorn" influenced the decision. Her husband shared a post saying, "Everything always has its reasons. Sending support to my beloved."

On 14 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Ms. Raphatsorn Niyamosot, Lampang MP from the People’s Party, posted a Facebook statement announcing the end of her role as a Member of Parliament following the recent dissolution of the House. She expressed heartfelt thanks to all the people who trusted her with their votes, giving her the opportunity to serve as their representative. She emphasized that every question, debate, and action she took was driven by a sincere commitment to stand firmly with the people.

Although her term in this parliament has ended, many issues affecting the people have been resolved, several have made significant progress, some are still being addressed by relevant agencies, and others remain ongoing. To continue pursuing the mission of serving the people of Lampang and beyond,

Ming will maintain her original ideals by working with honesty, transparency, and dedication to be a voice for everyone, just as she has done before.

At the same time, Ming announced she will end her work with the People’s Party. This decision is not due to a change in ideology or personal gain, but concerns the comfort and well-being of all parties involved — party members, the provincial team, the executive committee, and herself.

From the Move Forward Party to the People’s Party, she has always been given great opportunities.

Those past experiences are valuable, and Ming continues to hold only good feelings and goodwill toward the party... always.

From now on, Ming intends to move forward on a new path, with the same determination to work for the people to the best of her ability, regardless of position or affiliation. She hopes to continue receiving support and encouragement from everyone.

She expresses her deepest gratitude.

Meanwhile, a Facebook user commented that 90% of those who voted for her did so not because of prominence, recognition, or ability (which she has demonstrated well), but because of her party affiliation, which cannot be denied.

The decision not to continue with the People’s Party is seen as correct, as many remain skeptical due to her husband being a member of the Pheu Thai Party, a personal matter that appears to make her seem like a "traitor" and contradictory to the party’s ideology.

Finally, the commenter thanked her for her past work for the people of Lampang, even if she may no longer receive support in the future in Sobprab, Lampang district 4.

Ms. Raphatsorn replied to the comment, saying she understands the disappointment and willingly accepts all criticism.

She asked to prove herself through her work and performance, clarifying that the decision was not influenced by Thanathorn Loesuntorn, her husband.

She said it wouldn’t be entirely correct to say her ideology has changed, quoting an old saying, “It’s better to endure a cramped space than a cramped heart.” She thanked everyone.

Meanwhile, Thanathorn Loesuntorn, former Lampang MP from Pheu Thai and her husband, shared her post with the caption, "Everything always has its reasons. Sending support to my beloved." Former Pheu Thai MP Chanin Rungthanakiat teased, "A bit too sweet," to which Thanathorn replied with heart and smiling face emojis.
