The Prime Minister and his team toured the shelter surroundings to assess readiness for accommodating evacuees, including lodging, food, drinking water, medical care, and security. He engaged closely with residents about their well-being and encouraged those affected by the unrest to trust that the government will not abandon them.

Anutin expressed gratitude to all officials involved—administrative staff, military, police, medical personnel, volunteers, and related agencies—for their full efforts in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents at the shelter. He praised the systematic work and inter-agency cooperation.

Simultaneously, the Prime Minister thanked the public for cooperating with the government in evacuating to safe zones as advised by authorities. He emphasized that evacuation measures aim primarily to protect lives and safety, and assured that the government is prepared to continue supporting the people until the situation improves.

Anutin reaffirmed that the safety of the people is the government's and military's highest priority. Security agencies are fully engaged in defending sovereignty and preventing threats from spreading into the country's inner areas. He urged the public to trust the government and military’s careful actions prioritizing citizens’ lives.

“The government and military work closely together, with every decision focused on public safety. I want to assure everyone that we will provide full support and overcome this situation together,” the Prime Minister said. :

Anutin added that the government continues to closely monitor the situation and is adjusting assistance measures for evacuees at the shelter and nearby areas to ensure their safety and proper care throughout the tense border situation.

Reporters noted that this visit to the temporary shelter at Surin Rajabhat University was the second stop in the Prime Minister’s mission to monitor the situation and encourage affected residents. Previously, Anutin visited Chang Arena, a shelter in Buriram Province, to check readiness and support people impacted by the unrest along the border as well.
