Thai Sang Thai Party Sees Parliament Dissolution as a Chance to Reset the Country, Highlights Peoples Credit Fund to Revive Grassroots Economy

The Thai Sang Thai Party sees the dissolution of parliament as an opportunity to reset the country. It expresses concern about a policy vacuum and promotes the "People's Credit Fund" to assist small-scale individuals in sustainably revitalizing the grassroots economy.

On 15 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Worawut Towirat, deputy secretary-general of the Thai Sang Thai Party (TST), stated that the dissolution of parliament is a crucial chance to reset the country and return decision-making power to the people. Amid a political trust crisis, giving citizens back the power to choose the nation's direction is a dignified solution. He warned that if the dissolution leads to cancellation or delay of the Co-Payment Plus Phase 2 program, it would further burden the people, who have yet to receive the promised digital cash of ten thousand baht and would lose the economic support from this key program at a critical time.

Worawut explained that the Thai Sang Thai Party has prepared a policy aimed at structural economic reform called the People's Credit Fund. This fund offers access to financing ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 baht for citizens and small entrepreneurs without requiring collateral and charges only 1 percent interest per month. It aims to help sustain livelihoods, address informal debt problems, and strengthen liquidity in the grassroots economy sustainably. He affirmed that new elections are the country's hope and that the Thai Sang Thai Party is ready to present fairer and more sustainable policies for voters to decide in the upcoming election.
