Anutin reveals that during the parliament dissolution, the central budget cannot be used and says the second phase of 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' must wait for a normal government.
At 13:41 on 16 Dec 2025 GMT+7 at the Government House, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul spoke about the baht's appreciation to a four-year high and its impact on exports and tourism. He said that Commerce Minister Supachai Suthumpun and Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Akeniti Nitithanprapas are currently in talks with the Bank of Thailand (BOT).
When asked whether Deputy Prime Minister Bowornsak Uwanno had reported on discussions with the Election Commission (EC) regarding the implementation of the second phase of the 'Khon La Khrueng Plus' program and whether it was feasible, Anutin said he believes they must follow the rules. Since the parliament has been dissolved, the central budget cannot be used. They must wait until a normal government is restored.
