On 16 December 2025, Lieutenant General Adul Boonthamcharoen, Deputy Defense Minister, traveled to Prasat Hospital in Surin Province to inspect and encourage wounded soldiers. He declared loudly that the Royal Thai Army remains fully committed to defending sovereignty. Currently, 18 wounded soldiers are being treated at Prasat Hospital, all with excellent morale, expressing determination to return immediately to help their comrades on the front line once their condition improves.
The Deputy Defense Minister affirmed that the military will not falter. Commanders at all levels remain fully dedicated to their duties. We must protect sovereignty from invaders. Thai soil belongs to the Thai people and will never change.
Meanwhile, Major General Sujchai Sathaporn, director of Phra Mongkutklao Hospital, stated that a team of specialist doctors is ready to receive four soldiers who will be airlifted back tomorrow. Comprehensive welfare support for the soldiers' families will also be provided.
Dr. Chuhong Mahantatnapong, director of Prasat Hospital, confirmed that all resources have been mobilized to care for the wounded and ensure they are out of danger to the best of their ability.
