
A royal command has appointed Colonel Mom Chao Navaphat Yukol to serve as Special Operations Officer in the King's Security Command and has granted him the rank of Major General.
On 16 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Royal Gazette website published the announcement. The royal command announced the appointment of royal military officers and the conferment of military ranks. It stated that His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun has graciously issued a royal command appointing royal military officers and conferring ranks.
By virtue of Section 15 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand 2017, Sections 4 and 9 of the Royal Household Administration Act 2017, and Sections 10, 13, and 15 of the Royal Decree on Organization and Personnel Management of the Royal Household 2017,
and Section 5 of the Military Rank Act 1936, therefore, His Majesty has graciously appointed Colonel Mom Chao Navaphat Yukol, who holds the position of Special Operations Officer in the Office of the Special Operations Officer to His Majesty the King, King's Security Command (special colonel rank), to the position of Special Operations Officer in the same office with the rank of Major General, and has granted him the rank of Major General.
This appointment is effective from 11 Dec 2025 GMT+7.
