On 16 Dec 2025, multiple media outlets reported that Dr. Supat Hasuwanakit, director of Sabayoi Hospital in Songkhla Province and chairman of the Rural Doctors Association, submitted his resignation letter to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health. The resignation has not yet been approved but is expected to be authorized through official procedures by 18 Dec 2025.
