“Dr. Suphat” has resigned as director of Saba Yoi Hospital and chairman of the Rural Doctors Association. The Prachachon Party has nominated him to run for MP in Songkhla Constituency 2, awaiting official announcement on 18 Dec 2025.
On 16 Dec 2025, multiple media outlets reported that Dr. Suphat Hasuwannakit, director of Saba Yoi Hospital in Songkhla Province and chairman of the Rural Doctors Association, submitted his resignation letter to the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health. His resignation has not yet been approved but is expected to be processed officially by 18 Dec 2025.
Dr. Suphat stated he does not wish to give any interviews at this time and will provide commentsofficiallyafter 18 Dec.
It has been reported that the Prachachon Party has already nominated Dr. Suphat Hasuwannakit as its candidate for MP in Songkhla Constituency 2, Hat Yai District (specifically Khlong U Taphao and Hat Yai subdistricts).
