Bhumjaithai Spokesperson Highlights Slogan Say and Do Plus to Expand on Anutin Government Success

The Bhumjaithai spokesperson revealed that the prime ministerial candidate will be introduced soon. The party is promoting the slogan "Say and Do Plus" to expand upon the achievements made by the "Anutin government." To estimate parliamentary seats, one should revisit Anutin's statements.

On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Ms. Nan Boonthida Somchai, spokesperson for the Bhumjaithai Party, spoke about election preparations, saying these align with the timeline announced by the Election Commission (EC). She noted that discussions with candidates have covered standard election protocols and precautions.

Regarding the slogan "Say and Do Plus" and how it differs from before, the Bhumjaithai spokesperson explained that the slogan maintains their firm commitment to their principles of delivering on promises. The "Plus" signifies an expansion—both in policies and in demonstrating to the public the successes achieved or ongoing under Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul during the past two months.

On how this differs from previous slogans, the spokesperson said it involves broadening policies to cover all dimensions of the country, reflecting the main principles articulated by Anutin.

When asked how many politicians or influential local leaders have joined the Bhumjaithai Party this week and whether more will join, the spokesperson said many have expressed interest in membership and running as Bhumjaithai candidates. Some are from prominent local groups representing various professions. Regarding the perception that the party includes influential local groups, the spokesperson affirmed their diversity and readiness to work, emphasizing their preparedness to engage with and serve local communities.

On estimates of parliamentary seats, the spokesperson said, "We must refer back to Anutin's interview where he provided estimates. Certainly, these are only projections at this stage—not just from us but also from the media with various figures for different areas. We affirm our commitment to perform our best in every constituency."

Regarding when the party will reveal its prime ministerial candidate and whether all three candidates will be announced, the spokesperson said a conclusion will be reached soon and the announcement will definitely be made. As a preview, Anutin previously stated that they select prime ministerial candidates based on work performance and experience, also opening opportunities for all capable individuals—not only for prime ministerial candidates but for all party candidates—chosen from multiple perspectives, with readiness to work as the key criterion.

As for whether the other two prime ministerial candidates will be Ms. Supachai Suthamphan, Minister of Commerce, and Mr. Akniti Nitithanprapas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, the spokesperson said this remains to be seen.

Regarding the election in the Northeast region, especially Ubon Ratchathani Province, and whether the party will win all parliamentary seats there, Ms. Nan Boonthida, a former MP for Ubon Ratchathani, said she would not go that far in speculation.

On whether campaigning amid unrest in the eastern border provinces will restrict election activities, the Bhumjaithai spokesperson said this is the first time unrest has occurred during an election period, affecting several provinces—not only in southern Isan but also in the eastern region. They acknowledged some limitations but emphasized that in today's era, reaching voters is not limited to physical campaign posters but also through online media, which can effectively reach people in various areas.

On the last day of candidate registration for MPs (15–17 Dec 2025 GMT+7), at the Bhumjaithai Party headquarters, numerous Bangkok MP candidates gathered for final preparations ahead of the official launch soon. The party will field candidates in all 33 districts of Bangkok under the supervision of Mr. Eknat Promphan and Ms. Supamas Isarapakdi, party treasurer and Bangkok area leaders. Candidates from other regions and party-list candidates also took photos at the party office.
