On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that Mr. Satit Pitutecha, chairman of the Democrat Party's candidate selection committee, signed the committee's announcement on 16 Dec 2025 regarding the list of candidates for the list-member of parliament election. This concerns the hearing of opinions on the selection of candidates for the 2025 House of Representatives election, stating that
the Democrat Party's candidate selection committee had earlier issued an announcement on 13 Nov 2025 detailing the schedule, location, procedures for submitting intentions, and nominating party members as candidates for the 2025 House of Representatives election. The candidate nomination period for list MPs has now ended.
