“Sabida” admitted running as a Bhumjaithai party-list candidate, highlighting that serving as a minister for one year has given her the strength to run for a parliamentary seat. She revealed her father told her she must have achievements.
On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Ms. Sabida Thaiset, Minister of Culture, confirmed she registered as a party-list Member of Parliament candidate for Bhumjaithai Party because the constituencies in Uthai Thani province were already filled.
Regarding her feelings about fully becoming a Member of Parliament, Ms. Sabida said that after working nearly one year for the people, she feels empowered to represent them and believes she can continue on this path.
When asked whether Mr. Chada Thaiset, MP for Uthai Thani and her father, gave her any advice, Ms. Sabida stated frankly that her father did not say much except that she must have achievements.
Asked if her ministerial work would help her succeed as a parliamentary representative, Ms. Sabida said it was more about her intention. The outcome depends on the people, and she must do her best every day.
