Peoples Party Schedules Intensive Training for Prospective MP Candidates on 17-18 Dec

The People's Party will hold intensive training for prospective constituency and party-list MP candidates on 17-18 December. On 17 December 2025, reporters noted that from 17-18 December at the Avana Bangkok Hotel in Bangna, the People's Party is conducting a seminar for all prospective MPs, both party-list and constituency candidates, from across the country. Prospective candidates were notified on the evening of 16 December. Among the prospective party-list MPs, 120 primary and reserve candidates are participating. The party has not yet finalized the order of the party-list candidates. Previously, over 1,500 individuals applied and underwent rigorous training and interviews before being narrowed down to 120.

The schedule on 17 December begins with registration at 12:00, followed by the seminar starting at 13:00. Nattapong Ruangpanyawut, the People's Party leader, and Sarayut Jaillak, party secretary-general, will welcome attendees and explain the schedule. Then, the party's legal team will explain the legal documentation required for election candidates. Next is a lecture titled "Advancing Toward the Election" by Kittichai Techakulwanit, deputy party leader in charge of local administration. In the evening, the party's policy team will conduct policy training.

On 18 December, the seminar begins in the morning with further policy training by the policy team, followed by the 2026 campaign strategy presented by the communication and campaign team. Then, Sarayut will lecture on "The Importance of Networks and Winning Elections," concluding with Nattapong's talk titled "People's Government Changes Thailand" before ending the event around noon.

The People's Party has invited the media to cover the nationwide election preparation seminar on 18 December from 11:30 to 12:00. The media will have the opportunity to interview prospective candidates from across the country to get to know them better.
