
The People’s Party has assembled candidates for both party-list and constituency MP seats to contest the 2026 election. It was revealed that “Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn” has decided not to run this time. He has not disclosed his reasons but is expected to continue working with the party in an administrative capacity.
On 17 December 2025, reporters reported from the People’s Party (PChn.) regarding the progress in preparing for the 2026 election. Between 17-18 December at the Avani Bangkok Hotel in Bangna, the People’s Party held a seminar for prospective MPs, both party-list and constituency candidates nationwide. The Election Commission has announced candidate registration from 27-31 December 2025 and the election on 8 February 2026.
On the evening of 16 December 2025, a message was sent inviting 120 prospective party-list MP candidates, both primary and backup, to attend the seminar. The ranking order of the party-list candidates has not yet been finalized or arranged.
Among the party’s Grade-A MPs who have decided not to run this round, following Bangkok MP Tae Pipop Limjitrakorn, is former party-list MP and deputy party leader Wiroj Lakkhanaadisorn. He has not publicly explained his decision, but it is expected that he will continue working with the party in an administrative role as assigned. .
