Julaphan Amornwiwat affirmed the continuation of distributing 10,000 baht, hinted at readiness to collaborate with all parties to form a government, but emphasized the need for aligned ideologies. He noted rising popularity of the party's prime minister candidates.
On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Julaphan Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, spoke about the growing social media response to the party's three prime minister candidates. He said the main policies still focus on solving livelihood issues and reducing expenses, including continuing the 10,000 baht distribution to remaining groups, and that the party remains open to forming a coalition government with other parties.
Julaphan described the campaign strategy, stating the party prioritizes improving citizens' quality of life through the perspectives of the three candidates, emphasizing the use of AI technology and science as a springboard to drive the Thai economy, lower living costs, highlight the retirement lottery project, and systematically address debt problems.
When asked about the digital wallet project, Julaphan confirmed it would continue fully, especially for the additional 20 million people still pending. The party aims for 200 parliamentary seats; despite some former MPs switching parties, he believes the appealing policies and strong candidates will earn public trust.
“The election is not about old games but about the people's decision-making power. We combine new generation and experienced individuals and are confident of fielding candidates in all 400 constituencies,” Julaphan said. He added that coalition conditions require shared ideologies and the ability to drive the party’s policies.
