2026 Election: Election Commission Opens 3 Channels for Early Voting Registration from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026

2026 Early Voting The Election Commission opens registration for early voting from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026. Locations for central polling stations, disabled persons, the infirm, and elderly voters will be announced before 20 Dec 2025.

On 17 Dec 2025, the Office of the Election Commission (Election Commission) publicized the submission of registration requests to use early voting rights for the House of Representatives election. The public can submit applications from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026.

When is the 2026 early voting?

According to the Royal Decree on the 2025 House of Representatives election, Sunday, 8 Feb 2026, from 08:00 to 17:00, is the election day. However, voters unable to vote at their registered polling station on that day and wishing to vote early on Sunday, 1 Feb 2026, can submit registration requests via the specified channels.


The channels for submitting applications include:


1. Submit applications to the district registrar, local registrar, or authorized representatives between 20 Dec 2025 and 5 Jan 2026 during official working hours.

2. Submit applications by mail, with the postmark date considered valid, by 5 Jan 2026.

3. Submit applications online for early voting outside the electoral district or abroad, available 24 hours daily from 20 Dec 2025 until 24:00 on 5 Jan 2026 Thailand time, when the system will automatically close.

Regarding central polling stations within and outside districts, and those designated for disabled, infirm, or elderly voters, the Election Commission will announce these before 20 Dec 2025.
