Peoples Party Announces 33 Prospective MP Candidates for Bangkok with 10 Constituencies Changing Candidates

The People's Party has announced its prospective MP candidates for all 33 Bangkok constituencies, mostly retaining previous candidates. Ten constituencies have new candidates. It is expected that “Natcha,” “Rakchanok,” and “Piyarat” will move down to party-list MP positions, while “Chulapol Lakkham” will run again in Lat Krabang, aiming for a comeback.


On 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that after the People's Party completed the selection and evaluation of its prospective constituency MPs nationwide for all 300 constituencies, according to the party executive committee's criteria, party members' assessments, and provincial team evaluations, it is preparing to officially submit its candidate list for the election during 27-31 Dec 2025 GMT+7.


The party has also scheduled a seminar for all 300 prospective constituency MPs as well as 100 prospective party-list MPs to prepare on policy matters and campaigning strategies, to be held on 17-18 Dec 2025 GMT+7.


Most recently, reporters noted that the list of prospective MPs for all 33 constituencies in Bangkok, after selection and screening, mainly consists of the same candidates from the last election. However, 10 constituencies have new candidates: districts 2, 5, 14, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 31, and 33.


District 1 (Phra Nakhon, Pom Prap, Samphanthawong, Dusit, Bang Rak): Mr. Parames Wityaraksa-san


District 2 (Sathon, Pathum Wan, Ratchathewi): Mr. Seksit Yamsanguansak replacing Ms. Thisana Chunhawan


District 3 (Bang Kho Laem, Yan Nawa): Mr. Jorayut Jaturapornprasit


District 4 (Khlong Toei, Watthana): Mr. Phanthil Nuamchoem


District 5 (Huai Khwang, Wang Thonglang): Mr. Pitikorn Bannaphesat replacing Mr. Chalermchai Kulalert


District 6 (Phaya Thai, Din Daeng): Mr. Kantapon Duangamphon


District 7 (Bang Sue, Dusit): Ms. Phatsarin Ramwong


District 8 (Chatuchak, Lak Si): Mr. Chayaphol Sathondee


District 9 (Bang Khen, Chatuchak, Lak Si): Mr. Suphanat Minchainan


District 10 (Don Mueang): Mr. Ekrach Udom-amnuay


District 11 (Sai Mai): Ms. Sasinan Thammanithinan

District 20 (Lat Krabang): Mr. Chumphon Lakkham is running again after last year Ms. Theerarat Samretwanit from the Pheu Thai Party won this seat.


District 21 (Prawet, Saphan Sung): Mr. Natthapong Prempoonsawat


District 22 (Suan Luang, Prawet): Mr. Supakorn Tantipaiboonthana


District 23 (Phra Khanong, Bang Na): Mr. Chonlatharn Subpaiboonlert replaces Mr. Piyarat Jathep, who is expected to run as a party-list MP.


District 24 (Thon Buri, Khlong San, Rat Burana): Mr. Napat Jittapinan-kanta replaces Mr. Taepipob Limjitrakorn, who has announced his withdrawal from running.


District 25 (Thung Khru, Rat Burana): Ms. Annsiri Walaikanok


District 26 (Bang Khun Thian, Chom Thong): Mr. Pongsornat Thonglee replaces Mr. Chaiyampawan Manpianjit, who was expelled and now belongs to the Thai Progressive Party.


District 27 (Bang Khun Thian, Bang Bon): Mr. Narupol Lerpanyaroj replaces Mr. Natcha Boonchaiinsawat, who is expected to run as a party-list MP.


District 28 (Chom Thong, Bang Bon, Nong Khaem): Ms. Chonlat Koiyakul replaces Ms. Rakchanok Srinok, who is expected to run as a party-list MP.


District 29 (Bang Khae, Nong Khaem): Ms. Thisarat Laophol


District 30 (Bang Khae, Phasi Charoen): Mr. Thanyathorn Thaninwatthanatorn


District 31 (Taling Chan, Thawi Watthana): Mr. Anusorn Thamchai replaces Mr. Sirin Sanguansin


District 32 (Bangkok Noi, Bangkok Yai, Phasi Charoen, Taling Chan, Thon Buri): Ms. Pavitra Jittakit


District 33 (Bang Phlat, Bangkok Noi): Mr. Boonrit Raorungroj replaces Mr. Pongpan Yodmuangjaroen
