
Kla Tham Party unveiled “Kunakorn,” former Orange MP from Nonthaburi, running in his hometown Bangkok. “Phai Lik and Anudit” emerge to lead the capital, pledging candidates in all districts to establish a strong foothold.
At 20:00 on 17 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Kla Tham Party hosted the launch of Mr. Kunakorn Mantheerai, former Nonthaburi MP for District 6 from the People's Party, as a candidate for Bangkok’s 8th district under Kla Tham. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Lt. Col. Thammanat Prompao, party advisory chairman, and party secretary Mr. Phai Lik. Other candidates for Bangkok included Mr. Narongchai Muangkrong, Ms. Pawarisa Kunawaronon, Mr. Suk Sakrongdet, Mr. Nattaday Lamsaengkul, Mr. Sateerapong Samdaengsuk, Mr. Techasit Dontrirak, and Mr. Narutchai Bunnak.
Mr. Phai Lik stated that he has been entrusted with overseeing Bangkok’s elections alongside Commander Anudit Nakornthap, head of Kla Tham’s strategic committee. The party has attracted many young candidates, including Mr. Kunakorn, who is considered a young politician with political experience and aligned work approaches. Several other young candidates will run in Bangkok. Based on discussions, he guarantees that the upcoming candidate launches will be impressive. The party plans to field candidates in every district.
Mr. Kunakorn explained his decision to join Kla Tham Party saying the party does not merely think but takes immediate action. He wants to help the public promptly and earn their trust that Kla Tham sincerely supports citizens and has a good track record. This shared ideology of “think and act immediately” motivated him to join Kla Tham.
