She firmly affirms with her honor and dignity that her family has no political ties between the two countries and has never gained any benefits of any kind from the past marriage. She confirms her family are patriotic Thais.
Ms. Chayapha further stated that she cannot change the past and thus kindly requests a halt to spreading or distorting any untrue information. She calls for political opinions to be based on facts, honesty, and respect for human dignity. “Do not use the emotional wounds of a woman from the past for political attacks, because the regret I feel from my past mistakes is already painful enough.” She also urges fellow Thai citizens to use discernment when receiving news and not to be deceived by ill-wishers seeking to exploit this matter to politically attack and discredit Mr. Yotsanan.
