At 3:00 p.m. on 18 Dec 2025, reporters at the evacuation and shelter center for bedridden patients in Chanthaburi province reported that Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul visited evacuees displaced by unrest at the Thai-Cambodian border. The Prime Minister greeted and inquired about the residents’ conditions, offering encouragement at the shelter. He also ordered center staff to provide full support to the evacuees, including accommodation, food, drinking water, and healthcare services. The Prime Minister emphasized that shortages must be avoided, urged citizens to remain patient, and reaffirmed that the government is working swiftly to resolve the situation with the safety of the people as the foremost concern.
