Bhumjaithai Party in High Demand as Former MPs and Politicians Flock to Renowned Familys Political Camp

The Bhumjaithai Party is in high demand as Pipat unveiled a full slate of 59 southern candidates, promoting the new slogan "Talk and Deliver Plus," and warmly welcomed big names Nattawut, Sasomsap, and Suwanchavee to join the team.

On 18 December 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, acting as the southern leader of the Bhumjaithai Party, announced readiness for the 2026 election battle. Several high-profile politicians and prospective candidates enthusiastically registered. Mr. Pipat conducted a ceremony to present party shirts to candidates in the three southern border provinces—Pattani, Yala, and Narathiwat—including Mr. Sukree Mateh (Yala, District 2), Mr. Kamin Musi (Yala, District 3), Mr. Burhan Sameh (Pattani, District 3), and Mr. Waerussalan Masae (Narathiwat, District 3).

Mr. Pipat stated that the Bhumjaithai Party now has candidates in all 59 constituencies across 14 southern provinces. The party aims to secure more seats in the three southern border provinces than before, having previously succeeded with only one seat in Narathiwat in 2023. For the 2026 election, the party has upgraded its slogan to “Talk and Deliver Plus,” which means adding policies from the people and giving each province’s residents the right to propose additional policies beyond the party’s core platform. These proposals gathered during campaign visits will be included as campaign policies and implemented if the party becomes a leading or coalition government.

Mr. Pipat also said that beyond the southern base, Bhumjaithai is attracting notable figures from several prominent families who are continuously joining as constituency and party-list candidates. These include the influential family from Suphanburi Province: Mr. Nattawut Prasertsuwan and Mr. Nopadol Matsri; from Nakhon Pathom, the Sasomsap family: Mr. Panuwat Sasomsap and Mr. Anucha Sasomsap; from Lopburi, Ms. Kanchanaporn Jirapanyavanich; from Chainat, Mr. Chatwat Srithanawet and Mr. Montian Songpracha. For the party-list MPs, the party gathers veteran leaders and experts such as Mr. Sorawut Klinprathum, Mr. Peeraphon Suwanchavee, Mr. Sorawit Thanito (former Director-General of the Department of Livestock Development), and Dr. Pikit Srichana.
