Sakoltee announced the complete list of Democrat Party candidates for all 33 Bangkok constituencies, emphasizing that they have undergone a proper selection process highlighting political attitudes and ideologies consistent with the party's integrity-driven approach.
On 18 December 2025, Mr. Sakoltee Phattiyakul, Deputy Leader of the Democrat Party responsible for Bangkok candidates, posted on his personal Facebook page that the party has finalized candidates for all 33 constituencies. The selection process narrowed down from 150 hopefuls to 33 candidates. He expressed gratitude to all who earnestly sought nomination, acknowledging that many would inevitably feel disappointed due to the limited number of candidacies compared to the high number of applicants.
He explained that the party’s selection and executive committees thoroughly evaluated all aspects, including educational background, work experience, personality, political attitudes, and ideologies aligned with the party’s integrity-focused principles within the constitutional monarchy democracy framework.
Sakoltee added that those not advancing remain valuable to the party and he plans to contact those interested in continuing to work with the party for the nation’s benefit, as political work is not limited to parliamentary roles. He congratulated the 33 selected candidates and invited the public to meet them and learn their biographies at the official candidate launch on 22 December at 9:00 a.m.
