Teng Natthapong Says Thailand Like a Person Falling into an Abyss 2026 Election Will Define the Real Government to Solve the Countrys Problems

“Teng Natthapong” points out that Thailand resembles a person falling into an abyss. The 2026 election will determine the real government to solve grey-area politics and corruption since there will be no Senate votes for prime minister. He emphasizes a deputy prime minister team to address the country's problems without quotas.,

On 19 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the People's Party and the party's first-ranked prime minister candidate, said on the program "Open Up with Phakphum" about the upcoming election that yesterday the People's Party held a meeting with their prospective constituency and party-list candidates to prepare for the election. Since the times of the Move Forward Party, Future Forward Party, and now the People's Party, we have been committed to solving the country's problems and unlocking obstacles.Obstacles. Various crisesin politics

Currently, Thailand is like a person standing at the edge of a cliff, and the upcoming election will be a decisive moment that determines whether we fall or not. Another key point in this election is that it is a risky election for the people because there will be no Senate votes for the prime minister. When I say Thailand is like someone at the edge of a cliff, it is because if we look at all the problems so far, we have become accustomed to corruption issues.

However, I want to ask Phakphum and viewers at home: has corruption ever caused a building to collapse, killing nearly a hundred people, as in the case of the State Audit Office building? We may be familiar with police bribery, but has police bribery ever spread to infiltrate the police force, linked to the national police chief, with over 200 high-ranking police officers accused? There have been scams, but has there ever been a case where grey capital has taken over the country like this? Aside from involvement with the stock market, trying to seize control of energy companies, connected to parliament and political circles? I believe this is a frightening problem. If we continue to let our country go this way, it will be like Thailand falling into an abyss and unable to recover.

When asked how many steps remain before falling into the abyss, “This is the final step. I understand many people may feel disappointed and have lost political confidence based on polls, but I want to reaffirm once more that politics is a matter of hope, and every voice holds real hope. There will be no Senate votes to block us. We must ensure politics aligns with the interests of the majority. It must be straightforward politics without grey areas. As long as politics remains grey, we cannot solve all these problems. But if politics starts well and we have a people's government, every problem has a solution,” Mr. Natthapong said. Mr. Natthapong said,

When asked if this is the flagship issue of this election, Mr. Natthapong said they have consistently communicated this as a critical and decisive point, emphasizing that the grey-area problem is deeply intertwined with the country.

Yesterday, the People's Party unveiled four deputy prime ministers because the problems Thailand faces now make me doubt that any single leader,no matter how capable or qualified, can solve all the issues alone, whether border issues, scammers, corruption, or disaster management. What Thai people need now is a leader with a strong team. Hence, the unveiling of four deputy prime ministers focusing on sovereignty and new security, quality of life, new economy, and new public administration.

“Each person will not work in a nominal position. If we look at the current political system, deputy prime minister positions are sometimes nominal and given ministries according to quotas. But we have designed a strong management team for the deputies to oversee specific agendas. Each agenda requires coordination across multiple ministries without having to control them directly. For example, on the economy, Mr. Weerayut Kanjanachusak will oversee it, which involves the Foreign Ministry, Energy Ministry, Transport Ministry, Trade Ministry, and several other ministries related to the economy.” Mr. Natthapong said. . . .

It will be clear in the future which ministries each deputy prime minister will oversee. We believe the solution to the country's problems must start with a leader who has a strong team, and wewill place the country's issues as the priority, not positions or ministerial quotas, to effectively solve each problem and serve the people's interests. We believe that on 8 Feb 2026 GMT+7, in addition to policies that the People's Party confidently offers, showing the management team will build trust. If people choose the People's Party, they will know the management team that will govern the country. This will increase everyone's confidence that the People's Party is ready to govern and can pull Thailand back from falling into the abyss.Regarding the early January 2026 GMT+7 unveiling of the People's Party government team, which will not necessarily hold ministerial positions,we will introduce experts in each field, including former civil servants, academics, and businesspeople,

to gather professionals to manage the country. The party will release its policy platform at the end of the year, presenting the New Year's basket as a gift to the people on 25 Dec, before the candidate registration on 27 Dec.. . . . . .
