Abhisit thanks the public for the response to the "Thailand Will Not Endure" campaign, pointing out the country is trapped by shadow politics and big capital. He calls for education reform and ending populism, inviting participation in tomorrow's poll.
On 19 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party, revealed progress on the "Thailand Will Not Endure" public opinion campaign. After its launch, many citizens voiced their concerns about the country's ongoing problems. He plans to incorporate all suggestions into policy development and invites Thai people to participate in an opinion poll throughout tomorrow.
Abhisit stated that gathering the public’s frustrations about "what Thailand should no longer endure" has yielded many interesting and valuable responses. A top priority for people is reforming governance in the public sector.
Citizens expressed they no longer want to tolerate politicians serving powerful interest groups rather than the people, as well as corrupt officials, which are major causes of harm to the public. Regarding education reform, feedback highlighted that the current failure of Thai education is the root cause of its inability to produce “good and talented people” for society.
Young people suggested rejecting populist policies that offer no sustainable benefits. Instead, they want the government to focus on developing the country's competitive potential and “build people rather than buildings.” Voices from Hat Yai residents clearly stated “They will no longer endure repeated flooding problems.” Any longer.
Abhisit emphasized that these opinions and suggestions are not mere complaints but a “treasure trove of ideas” that the Democrat Party will refine and weave into tangible policies to present solutions for the country next week.
“Every opinion benefits the nation. The Democrat Party will use your voices to propose serious and professional policies so that Thailand no longer has to endure the same problems again,” Abhisit said.
At the end, the Democrat Party leader invited citizens nationwide to show their support online tomorrow (Saturday) as the party will open “an opinion poll” all day to collect data and prioritize the urgent problems Thai people want resolved, leading to the announcement of a national action plan to solve the country's problems this coming Monday.
