On 20 Dec 2025, reporters stated that today marks the first day of early voting registration for the House of Representatives (HoR) election. The Election Commission Office has opened applications for eligible voters from 20 Dec 2025 until 5 Jan 2026. Early voting day is set for 1 Feb 2026, while the general HoR election will take place on Sunday, 8 Feb 2026.
1. Submitting an application to the district registrar, local registrar, or to the ambassador or their designated representative. Applications accepted from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026 during official working hours.
2. Submitting an application by postal mail. Applications accepted from 20 Dec 2025 to 5 Jan 2026, with the postmark date considered valid.
3. Submitting an application via the internet network (only for early voting at central polling stations outside the electoral district and for overseas voting). Applications accepted 24 hours daily from 20 Dec 2025 until 5 Jan 2026 at 24:00 Thai time, when the system will automatically close. Registration can also be done through the Election Commission's SMART VOTE app and the Ministry of Interior's ThaiD app.

The website and applications also display an alert stating: "In the event a referendum is held alongside the HoR election, you must register separately to vote in the referendum outside your district."
Additionally, the Election Commission allows electronic submission of reasons for being unable to vote in the HoR election. This must be done either seven days before the election or within seven days after election day (click to notify reasons for not voting).
