On 20 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the People's Party (PP) Krabi branch held a member meeting to gather opinions and select candidates for the constituency-based MP election. The meeting approved three candidates: District 1's Thanawat Phukaluan, heir to the local political family "Phukaluan" and son of former Krabi mayor Keeratisak Phukaluan. In the previous election, Thanawat ran under the Democrat Party and received a high 30,877 votes before switching to the People's Party to challenge Kitti Kittithornkul, the defending champion from Bhumjaithai.
In District 2, Rattanaporn Na Nakorn, a young candidate with a master's degree in political science from Srinakharinwirot University and former Royal Rainmaking Department officer who has worked in the area for over a year, prepares to compete against Thiradet Tangmankok from Bhumjaithai. In District 3, Prasertphong Sornuvat, known as 'Young MP' and a former two-term party-list MP (Future Forward-Kao Klai), decided to run in a constituency for the first time, challenging incumbent Dr. Saritpong Kiewkong, aka 'Kosut,' from Bhumjaithai.
