Bhumjaithai Launches Two Candidates for Surat Thani and Narathiwat, Aiming for No Less Than 30 Southern MPs

Pipat unveiled Banjon Chanchoang and Maskri Sare as the two prospective candidates for MPs in Surat Thani. and Narathiwat, announcing a commitment to reclaim justice in regional development, with a goal of securing no fewer than 30 southern MPs.

On 20 December 2025 at the Bhumjaithai party office, Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, southern regional commander for Bhumjaithai, introduced the prospective parliamentary candidates: Mr. Banjon Chanchoang for Surat Thani, District 5, and Mr. Maskri Sare for Narathiwat, District 5. He then stated that, overseeing 14 southern provinces, he confirms the party has candidates for all 59 southern constituencies. On 25 December, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, party leader, will send official appointment letters for candidates to register in their respective districts.

Mr. Pipat added that Bhumjaithai is fully prepared to campaign across all 59 southern constituencies, aiming to secure at least 30 seats combining incumbents and new party members. The party's main policy for 2026 remains “say and do plus,” inviting local voters in every constituency to suggest additional policies they feel Bhumjaithai should adopt. These suggestions can be submitted to their candidates or representatives, and if the party leads government formation, these policies will be incorporated into future government agendas.

“We seek to restore fairness in opportunities for infrastructure development in the South. Historically, the South has lacked development opportunities despite having three prime ministerial terms, while other regions received more development chances. The South generates substantial tourism revenue for Thailand, yet it has been overlooked and underdeveloped.”
