Suan Dusit Poll reveals that if the election is held on 8 February 2026, people would choose the Pachon Party and support “Teng Natthapong” as prime minister, also casting votes for constituency MPs from the same party. Pheu Thai with Yotsanan follows closely in second place, and Bhumjaithai with Anutin ranks third.
On 21 December 2025, Suan Dusit Poll of Suan Dusit University conducted a nationwide public opinion survey titled “If the election takes place on 8 February 2026,” sampling 2,232 respondents (via online and field surveys) between 16-19 December 2025. The findings showed that if the election occurs on 8 February 2026, 24.55% of respondents would vote for the Pachon Party. Following were Pheu Thai at 21.62%, Bhumjaithai at 17.74%, Democrat Party at 7.84%. For constituency MPs, 23.48% would vote for Pachon candidates, 21.53% for Pheu Thai, 16.04% for Bhumjaithai, and 7.12% for Democrat Party.
Regarding who respondents want as the next prime minister, Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut (Pachon) received 23.97%, Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat (Pheu Thai) 21.95%, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul (Bhumjaithai) 16.25%, Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva 7.30%, and Mr. Peeraphan Saliratwipak 3.41%.
Dr. Pornpan Buathong, chair of Suan Dusit Poll, stated that the Pachon Party leads both in party preference and individual candidates, while Pheu Thai's overhaul has yet to show clear results but rebranding through fresh-faced figures helps regain votes. Although Bhumjaithai’s support is declining, the gap remains narrow with a chance to turn the tide. With one side having a loyal base, another offering freshness, and another holding resource advantages, the race to seize momentum is now a challenge all parties are intensifying to prepare voters for election day.
