Internal Security Command Ready to Protect Citizens During New Year Urges Reporting of Suspicious Drones or Individuals

The Internal Security Command (ISC) emphasizes maintaining security in inner areas during the New Year festival and asks the public to help monitor. If suspicious drones or individuals are spotted, people should promptly report tips via the 1374 security hotline.

On 21 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Internal Security Operations Command (ISC) announced that due to current security conditions and to boost confidence in safety during the long New Year holiday, measures will be in place from now through the post-festival period.

General Chaiphruek Duangpraphat, Secretary-General of the ISC, stressed that all subordinate units must increase vigilance and closely safeguard inner areas, especially key sites, communities, tourist destinations, and places with large public gatherings.

He ordered deputy provincial internal security commanders (military sector) to coordinate with relevant agencies, community networks, the ISC, and local citizens to jointly monitor, guard against, and watch for threats that could impact public order and safety.

The ISC requests cooperation from the public: if anyone notices unusual activity or has information related to suspicious use or sightings of unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), infiltration by suspicious persons, espionage, sabotage, or any acts affecting security and safety, or any other irregular incidents, they should immediately report via the free 24-hour security hotline 1374. The state security agencies assure they will perform their duties to the fullest to ensure that citizens can live and travel during the New Year festival with maximum peace of mind and safety.
