Three Pheu Thai Prime Ministerial Candidates Included in Complete Party List of MPs, Including Children of Phumtham and Tawee

The Pheu Thai Party has announced its complete list of 100 party-list MPs, including "Yotchanan," "Julpan," and "Suriya." The list also features children of "Phumtham" and "Tawee." The party explained that Jatuporn's resignation was not caused by internal party issues.

On 21 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters from the Pheu Thai Party reported the release of the party-list MP list comprising 100 names arranged alphabetically. The list includes the party's three prime ministerial candidates: Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Yotchanan Wongsawat, and Julpan Amornwiwat, as well as party leaders such as Phumtham Vejchay, Prasert Chanruangthong, and Somsak Thepsuthin. It also includes recent members like Thewan Liptapanlop and Torsak Asawamahasakorn, along with political heirs running for party-list MP seats for the first time, such as Thongtham Vejchay, son of Phumtham, and Rawit Sodsong, son of Police General Tawee Sodsong.

Meanwhile, Julpan Amornwiwat, leader of the Pheu Thai Party, confirmed that Jatuporn Chaisang's resignation as party strategy chairman was not due to any internal conflicts or problems within the party. Jatuporn submitted his resignation through the party secretary two days ago. He remains a party member and continues to play a role within Pheu Thai, choosing instead to serve on the referendum committee. Jatuporn has long been dedicated to constitutional reform efforts.
