Peoples Party Finalizes Nearly All MP Candidates Across Provinces Former Rayong MP Vows to Defend Seat

The People's Party has finalized nearly all MP candidates across provinces. "Terd" Rathapoom seeks to be the candidate for Phetchabun's 1st district, while "Krit Silpachai," together with former Rayong MPs, has declared a commitment to defend their parliamentary seats.

On 21 Dec 2025 GMT+7, at Aday Hotel, Nai Mueang subdistrict, Mueang Phetchabun district, the People's Party coordinators and members in Phetchabun held a primary vote to select MP candidates for all six constituencies in the province. The meeting resolved to nominate Mr. Rathapoom Lertpaijit for Phetchabun district 1, Mr. Rwangtiporn Saenkhamphuket for district 2, Mr. Montri Khuntep for district 3, Mr. Promthada Wisetsing for district 4, Ms. Tharda Chanson for district 5, and Mr. Akkarapong Sitthi for district 6.

Mr. Rathapoom Lertpaijit, also known as Terd, the MP candidate for Phetchabun district 1, revealed that the party plans to field candidates in all 400 constituencies. For Phetchabun, which has six constituencies, the primary voting process has completed with candidates for all six districts. From his ongoing visits before and after the dissolution of parliament, he is confident in competing against the established local powers in Phetchabun. His party's policies and his priorities for Phetchabun include supporting and promoting agriculture by introducing new technologies for production and product marketing. Additionally, since Phetchabun is currently an aging society, welfare must be addressed, along with promoting new careers for youth so that young people working in other provinces can return to build families and support the elderly and society in Phetchabun.

"I entrust the People's Party to the people of Phetchabun as another option. This election will determine the nation's future, and it differs from the previous one because this time, senators will have no right or power to choose the prime minister; only the people will choose the prime minister."

Similarly, at Hasan Hotel conference room in Mueang district, Phitsanulok province, the People's Party introduced candidates for five constituencies after completing the primary vote. The party is preparing to submit the names of Rayong MP candidates on 27 Dec 2025 GMT+7, which include:

Constituency 1: Mr. Natchanon Chanaburanasak, former People's Party MP candidate.

Constituency 2: Mr. Nachapon Pholasaa, a new candidate.

Constituency 3: Mr. Punnamet Onaree, former candidate for Phitsanulok Provincial Administrative Organization chief.

Constituency 4: Mr. Nithitanan Kaosrisuriyathada, a new candidate.

Constituency 5: Mr. Supakorn Kittayathikun, former MP, running again to defend his seat.

Meanwhile, Mr. Thanakorn Klinphaka is on the party list.

In Rayong, at Ploen Ta Garden meeting room, the primary vote selected four former MPs from the party and some new candidates. These were chosen through a process involving the central party and the Rayong branch. The area was formerly represented by former MP Sawangjit Laoharojanaphan, who has decided to step back to work behind the scenes for the party and is not on the candidate list, contrary to earlier speculation.

The prospective Rayong MP candidates are:

Constituency 1: Ms. Kamontarat Kittisuntsornsak (Earth), former MP.

Constituency 2: Mr. Krit Silpachai (Krit), former MP.

Constituency 3: Mr. Pongsathon Sorpetchnarint (Yo), former MP.

Constituency 4: Mr. Chutipong Phiphopphinyo (Top), former MP.

Constituency 5: Mr. Watcharapong Sirirak (Park), a new candidate.

Mr. Krit Silpachai stated that in the upcoming MP election, the party aims to retain its stronghold in Rayong to unite voices for forming a people's government, opposing the gray capital system and corruption in society. He expressed confidence in the party's popularity, based on its consistent work prioritizing public interest.
