Wan Yoobamrung Signals a Turning Point in Life, Eyes Move to New Opportunity Party

Wan Yoobamrung posted a signal of another turning point in his life, drawing attention to a possible move to the 'New Opportunity' party. Meanwhile, Jatuporn Buruspat acknowledged that Wan came to talk and showed interest in the party's policies.

On 22 December 2025 GMT+7, reporters reported that on the evening of 21 December, Wan Yoobamrung, an executive committee member of the Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP), posted a message on his personal Facebook saying: "The day my life has reached another turning point."

Meanwhile, on 20 December, photos showed Wan Yoobamrung sitting and talking with Jatuporn Buruspat, leader of the New Opportunity party, accompanied by Praphat Jongsanguan, former governor of the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand and former strategic committee member of the Thai Raksa Chart party, now a member of New Opportunity. Reports also indicated that Wan told people within the PPRP that he might make another political decision.

Jatuporn revealed that he indeed met with Wan, who stopped by the party office that day and had the chance to discuss policies with him and the party's executive committee. Wan expressed interest in the party’s policies. Whether he will join the New Opportunity party in the future is a decision for Wan to make.

Previously, on 12 December, Wan had taken Police Lieutenant Colonel Chalerm Yoobamrung, his father, to register as a member of the PPRP with General Prawit Wongsuwan, the party leader, at the Forest Conservation Foundation for the Five Provinces Border Area.
