
Prime Minister Anutin convened a discussion with military commanders outside the main session before presiding over the National Security Council meeting.
At 09:35 on 22 December 2025 at the National Security Council office, Government House, Prime Minister and Interior Minister Anutin Charnvirakul chaired the 17th National Security Council meeting of 2025. Present were Defence Minister Gen. Natthaphon Nakpanich, Justice Minister Pol. Lt. Gen. Rutphol Naowarat, Digital Economy and Society Minister Chaiyachon Chidchob, and National Security Council Secretary-General Chatichai Bangchuad to review the Thailand-Cambodia border situation. Representatives from the Department of Airports, Civil Aviation Authority, and related agencies also attended.
Before the meeting, the Prime Minister held an informal discussion at the Thai Khu Fah Building with Supreme Commander Gen. Ugrit Boontanon, military commanders, and the National Security Council Secretary-General before chairing the National Security Council meeting at the council’s office.
