Sudarat Declares War on Corruption with Three Strict Measures If Elected Government

Sudarat declared a call to arms, announcing an immediate "war to purge corrupt individuals" if her party forms the government. She emphasized that corruption has caused the nation's downfall and highlighted three decisive measures, including "increasing the death penalty" to prevent "black capital" from buying Thailand and seizing administrative power with dirty money.

On 22 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai Party, declared a firm commitment to establishing honest politics. She stated that corruption is a "malignant cancer" eating away at Thailand, driving the economy into a free fall. Despite a national budget of nearly 4 trillion baht, citizens suffer severe hardships because funds are siphoned off to enrich corrupt power holders instead of securing people's livelihoods.

She warned that if transnational criminals and "black capital" gangs are allowed to buy politicians to seize state power, Thailand could become a "failed state," similar to some countries in South America or Africa.

The Thai Sang Thai Party therefore proposes three major measures to completely purge corrupt individuals as follows:

1. Increasing penalties for national traitors, including state officials and politicians, up to the maximum punishment of the death penalty.

2. Granting citizens with 50,000 signatures the power to vote to remove independent agencies and the Constitutional Court if they are found to benefit corrupt individuals.

3. Establishing a "People's NACC" to involve the private sector and civil society in monitoring state projects with real legal authority to prosecute offenders.

Khunying Sudarat emphasized that these measures continue the late King Rama IX’s directive to promote good people to govern and control bad individuals from gaining power.

The Thai Sang Thai Party volunteers to lead the fight against corruption and pledges that if given the opportunity to govern, it will push to enact these three measures into law within the first six months in office to transform Thailand toward sustainable stability.

She invited citizens nationwide to rise up and join in purging corrupt individuals by refusing to vote for vote-buying politicians and together creating a new chapter in Thai politics marked by honesty for a better future for all Thai children.
