At 10:00 a.m. on 22 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Panthongtae Shinawatra and his wife, Natthiya Puangkam, acted as family representatives to visit Thaksin Shinawatra at Klong Prem Central Prison. They were accompanied by Thaksin's personal lawyer, Winyat Chatmontri, amid media attention and Red Shirt supporters gathered outside the prison to show support.
Panthongtae and his wife smiled warmly and greeted the media and Red Shirt supporters who were there to welcome and encourage them, as usual, before going inside to visit Thaksin.
At 10:25 a.m., after the visit, Panthongtae said his father is in good health, with no unusual stress or blood pressure issues. Thaksin asked about his grandchildren and expressed that he misses them. Regarding New Year activities in the prison, Panthongtae was not aware of any details, only discussing how the grandchildren were doing. Thaksin also sent encouragement to Professor Dr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, the Pheu Thai prime minister candidate.
Before leaving, Panthongtae and his wife greeted the Red Shirt supporters waiting outside the prison, then got into their private car and departed from Klong Prem Central Prison immediately.
