On 23 December 2025, counting down to the major 2026 election, political parties have gradually introduced their members, including prime minister candidates, to contest the general election for the House of Representatives scheduled for 8 February 2026 GMT+7. The Election Commission will accept candidate registrations from 27 to 31 December 2025 GMT+7.
Of particular interest are the policies of each party, as well as the visions of party leaders and their prime minister candidates. Today, from 17:30 to 19:00 GMT+7, Thairath TV will broadcast live a live debate stage, the first of the election, featuring key figures including party leaders and prime minister candidates from each party, totaling 8 candidates from 8 parties:
Mr. Natthapong Ruangpanyawut, leader of the Prachachon Party and prime minister candidate,
Mr. Yotsanan Wongsawat, prime minister candidate of the Pheu Thai Party,
Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, leader of the Democrat Party and prime minister candidate,
