Prime Minister Anutin revealed that the Election Commission has requested an 8 billion baht election budget framework before submitting it to the Cabinet. The Bhumjaithai Party’s prime ministerial candidate will not be unveiled tomorrow.
On 23 December 2025 GMT+7 at the Government House, Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, disclosed that the election budget approval for 2026 is still a framework, not a finalized amount, as it must be presented again to the Cabinet. Currently, the budget framework is about 8 billion baht.
Regarding the announcement of the Bhumjaithai Party’s prime ministerial candidate tomorrow (24 Dec), Anutin said not yet, then excused himself from the Government House.
