The Ministry of Transport and the Mass Rapid Transit Authority of Thailand (MRTA) are spreading cheer on New Year's Eve 2025 as they extend MRT train services on four lines until 2 AM and prolong the opening hours of station buildings and parking lots to better serve the public.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Transport and the MRTA, along with the concessionaires operating the four MRT lines, namely Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM), the operator of the MRT Blue Line (Chaloem Ratchamongkhon) and MRT Purple Line (Chalong Ratchatham), Eastern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited (EBM), operator of the MRT Yellow Line (Nakhon Ratchapipat), and Northern Bangkok Monorail Company Limited (NBM), operator of the MRT Pink Line, intend to deliver a New Year's gift by extending MRT services on the Purple, Blue, Yellow, and Pink lines.
