On 23 Dec 2025 GMT+7, Khunying Sudarat Keyuraphan, leader of the Thai Sang Thai party, introduced Mr. Suradech Tawesangskulthai, a leading businessman and co-founder of the 'Khon Kaen Model,' to serve as the commander of economic and sustainability policy. He will drive the nation forward with professional expertise proven at the global level. He is a rare figure in management, combining skills in engineering, technology, and finance effectively.

The party leader added that his outstanding achievements include the Khon Kaen Model, which promoted mass transit systems and a Smart City through private and local efforts, gaining international recognition. Internationally, he led a Thai business to successfully list on the NASDAQ stock exchange in the United States. Academically, he has taught public policy for over 10 years.

Khunying Sudarat further stated that Mr. Suradech has been assigned to redesign the economic structure to tackle the 'five giant waves' threatening Thailand. The focus is on reducing inequality by coordinating the private sector, local governments, and central authorities to work harmoniously without relying on state budgets. Plans include reforming the bureaucracy to combat corruption and overhauling laws that obstruct livelihoods. Sustainable economic growth will harness global market opportunities to empower grassroots economies in real local areas.

Khunying Sudarat emphasized firmly that bringing Mr. Suradech onboard reinforces the party’s promise: 'No corruption, experienced, proven results.' She noted that Thailand has wasted enough time on failed governance and feudal politics. It is time to shift to 'honest politics' led by those who truly understand the work and have delivered results. The country has suffered enough from shadowy politics; now is the time to rely on genuine professionals to lead Thailand out of its crisis cycle.
